Vince is President and Managing Director of Covington Capital, a private investment firm based in Kentucky providing specialized investment banking and advisory services primarily to financial firms. Prior to organizing Covington Capital, Vince was Chairman and CEO of Trans Financial, Inc., a $2.5 billion Kentucky based bank holding company that was merged into Firstar in August of 1998, and became Executive Vice President and Regional Chairman of Firstar Corporation, a $75 billion bank holding company. As a director, Vince brings extensive public company board, executive management and corporate financial experience to VenuLex.

Matt is Managing Partner of SuNova Capital, L.P., a financial hedge fund headquartered in New York City. Prior to the organization of SuNova Capital in 1999, Matt served as President of Keefe Management; another New York based financial hedge fund. Stewart is former Managing Partner, Chairman of the Firm's Executive Committee and a member of the General Business Practice Group. He concentrates his practice in the general corporate, corporate finance, securities, and banking areas and is a frequent lecturer on securities and banking law. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Louisville Water Company, Boy Scouts of America (Lincoln Heritage Council), Louisville Downtown Development Corporation, Leadership Kentucky Foundation and Greater Louisville Inc. He is also a member of Louisville Bar Association (Revised Model Business Corporation Act Project Team), American Bar Association (Banking Committee of the Section on Corporation, Banking and Business Law) and Kentucky Bar Association. He is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation and the Kentucky Bar Foundation. Stewart received his B.S.C. degree in 1963 and his J.D. degree, cum laude, in 1966 from the University of Louisville.

David joined Office Depot in 1998 as Senior Vice President & General Counsel. He was named Executive Vice President in August 2000. David has over 25 years of experience in corporate law departments and private legal practice.

Rod served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Republic Corporation and Peabody Coal Company. Rod founded the law firm of Munger Tolles & Hills, and has been an advisor to other law firms, such as Donovan Leisure, Shea & Gould, and Mudge Rose. In addition, Rod has been a resident faculty member at Harvard Law School and the Yale School of Organization and Management.

Rich is Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. In 1977, while working in the governor's office of his home state of Kentucky, he met a family affected by CF. Less than a year later, knowing the story of CF, Mattingly dedicated his professional career to finding a cure, by joining the staff of the CF Foundation as an associate executive director in Kentucky. In his current position since 1993, he has significantly contributed to the phenomenal growth of the CF Foundation.
